About Vancouver

HOTELS & TRANSPORTATION  FESTIVAL LOCATIONS

Douglas Coupland calls Vancouver the City of Glass and “a dream of a city.” Set between mountains and sea, Vancouver is a lush, post-modern and multicultural city. Citizens drink coffee like there’s no tomorrow and eat sushi by the ton. Its diverse neighbourhoods range from Little India and the Drive to Yaletown, SoMa, and the West End.

Weather
In September, the weather is warm, on average about 18 (65 F) and usually sunny. Bring a light sweater for the evenings. An umbrella is not a terrible idea either.

Dining
Vancouver is a foodie’s delight. Nearly every cuisine of the world is easily available; our Asian and Pacific Northwest restaurants shine. Incredible restaurants abound from hole-in-the-wall finds to fine dining establishments such as Lumiere where you can meet Vancouver’s very own Iron Chef! Check out http://www.dinehere.ca/
